1. When is the sports day and how often is it?

Just after Christmas and held annually


2. What does Grass Skiing involve?

3 players,Coconut Pods,Bar to hold on.


3. How long is the grass skiing track?

The Amount Of How long the track is seventy-five metres long.


4. What are the ski’s made out of and how often should they be replaced?
The Skis are made out of coconut and a stick.They should be replaced after they have used it two or more.



5. Why is stilt racing tricky?
Because it would be hard walking in the stilts and some of us  might be scared of Heights.



6. What is Tika throwing?
Tika throwing is another niuean sport which is only for teenagers and adults,The Tika which is handmade into two parts.





7. Describe the Tika and how it is used?

The Tika is handmade and it is only used for the adults and  teenagers.



8. What game do the adults play and how do they distract each other?

The adults that are in the games play tiger war and Tika Throwing,In tiger way the other teammates sings and song to make the other team laugh and stop holding the rope.



9. What other races are there and how does the day end?

The other races are relay’s and the day ends in a ceremony in a big ceremony for the winners.

Today Me and my Buddy we were working on a follow up task that got given to us about Niuean Sports day,We had to answer all the questions about Niuean Sports Day.
